Jamie grew up in Morganton, North Carolina, a quaint town in the foothills of North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Phi Beta Kappa honors and went on to attend and graduate from Cumberland School of Law on the beautiful campus of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. During law school, she met her husband, Watkins. She and Watkins have been married nearly nineteen years and have two beautiful children. Their son, Watkins IV, is a rising Sophomore at Trinity Presbyterian School and their daughter, Hart, is a rising fourth grader at Trinity Presbyterian School. Jamie, while raising her children and practicing law, she discovered a love for the interiors.

Through the encouragement of others, she has launched her own interiors firm specializing in guiding homeowners to create an interior which is both practical and inspiring. Jamie has a natural eye for design and her interiors can be described as clean yet layered; soft yet dramatic; and subtle yet bold.
